Pre-Nursery
The Pre-Nursery group will follow the English National Curriculum, with full immersion in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which covers children from birth to age five.
The curriculum will be carefully adapted to reflect the developmental stage of the youngest children, while maintaining the same pedagogical style and principles as the current Nursery class. Learning will be playful, experiential and focused on the major areas of development, with a strong emphasis on communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and physical development.

Class size
The Pre-Nursery class will have a maximum of 18 children. The group will be supported by two qualified teachers and an educational assistant, ensuring a high adult to child ratio. All staff will be fully qualified and trained, including up-to-date certification in pediatric first aid and child protection and welfare training.
Daily schedule and academic year
The program will offer a full school day, and the academic calendar will be aligned with the current school calendar.
However, there will be a high degree of flexibility to accommodate families’ needs. For example, parents who wish to pick up their children earlier on certain days will be able to do so. We recognize the importance of working in partnership with families at this educational stage.
Dining room service
All food will be age appropriate and nutritionally balanced, designed specifically for young children. Menus will be developed in collaboration with the center’s nutritionist to ensure that they meet developmental and nutritional needs.
Children will eat within the Pre-Nursery unit itself, rather than in the main dining room, providing a quiet, familiar and safe environment.
